About the Role
Stanbic Bank Uganda is seeking a dynamic and results-driven mid-level Executive Banking Manager to lead our Prestige/Executive Banking segment. This pivotal role is responsible for implementing the segment's value proposition to achieve financial and non-financial objectives, aligning with the broader Affluent Clients strategy. You will drive client growth, portfolio profitability, and exceptional service delivery through a dedicated team of Executive Bankers, ensuring our offerings consistently meet the sophisticated needs of our high-net-worth clientele. Key responsibilities include overseeing the entire portfolio's risk management and governance, developing client acquisition and retention strategies to grow market share, and optimizing operational efficiency. You will analyze portfolio performance, identify opportunities for revenue growth and client migration between segments, and provide critical feedback to enhance products and services. A core aspect of the role is to inspire, coach, and empower your team to deliver on the Group's client-led vision, fostering a culture of excellence and proactive problem-solving to strengthen client relationships.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field, Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in consumer banking, including at least 3-4 years in a team leadership or management role, Proven experience in developing and managing segment value propositions for affluent or prestige clients, Demonstrable experience in managing an income statement and balance sheet with P&L accountability, In-depth knowledge of the Ugandan banking landscape, digital banking trends, and the specific needs of high-net-worth individuals.
