1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CLBK HR ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

CLBK HR is a job board platform that connects employers with job seekers in Uganda. Our mission is to ensure every applicant receives feedback on their application — "Every applicant gets a callback."

3. User Accounts

Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Account Types

• Candidates: Job seekers looking for employment opportunities
• Employers: Companies and organizations posting job openings
• Admins: Platform administrators

4. For Candidates

• Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile and applications
• Only submit one application per job posting
• Respond to employer communications in a timely manner
• You may withdraw your application at any time
• Keep your profile information up to date

5. For Employers

Job Postings

• All job postings must be for legitimate employment opportunities
• Job descriptions must be accurate and not misleading
• Must comply with Uganda employment laws and regulations
• Cannot include discriminatory requirements (gender, ethnicity, religion, etc.)
• Must not charge candidates any fees

Application Management

Our Commitment to Candidates: As an employer on CLBK HR, you agree to provide feedback to ALL applicants — either a rejection reason or an offer. This is our core promise to job seekers.

• Review applications within a reasonable timeframe
• Provide constructive feedback when rejecting candidates
• Communicate professionally and respectfully
• Do not share candidate information with third parties

6. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Posting fake or scam job listings
• Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, or fraud
• Discriminatory job requirements that violate Uganda laws
• Posting jobs that require payment from candidates
• Spamming job boards with duplicate or similar postings
• Sharing candidate data with unauthorized third parties
• Creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions
• Harassment or abuse of other users

7. Content and Intellectual Property

• Users retain ownership of content they submit (profiles, job descriptions, applications)
• By posting content, you grant us license to display and distribute it on the platform
• Do not post content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms

8. Payments and Credits

• Basic job posting is free for verified employers
• Paid features: premium postings, additional credits
• All payments are processed through Flutterwave
• Paid credits are non-refundable
• Prices are listed in Ugandan Shillings (UGX)

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

• The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee job outcomes or employment
• We are not responsible for user-generated content
• We do not verify the accuracy of job postings or user information
• Users are responsible for their own decisions and interactions

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Employers who do not provide feedback to applicants may have their accounts suspended.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved in Ugandan courts.
